The connection between what has become known as the Twitter Ratio and the three Triple Crown stats of Major League Baseball players was first brought to the attention of the world by David Roth in this Deadspin post.
The idea for a widget to find comparable MLB statistics for a specific tweet ratio was inspired by the Dec. 18, 2017, episode of Slate's sports podcast Hang Up and Listen.

The MLB data comes from the Fangraphs Leaderboards.
How do you figure out who the most similar players are? The Euclidean distance (called Score in the list) is calculated for the three ratio stats and each player in the player pools triple crown stats. The player pool is then sorted by Score and the ten players with the lowest Scores are returned.
